What do I need for an out-of-state title transfer?

Do I need to turn in my license plate if I cancel insurance or sell my car?

Yes, and if the plate isn’t cancelled, the state may suspend the driving privileges of the registered owner(s)

When does my registration expire?

Most registrations expire at midnight on your birthday.

How do I renew my registration?

 Provide:

  • Your renewal notice (if received) OR your current registration

  • Proof of current Florida insurance

What if I didn’t receive my renewal notice?

Not all counties mail renewal notices, and sometimes notices get lost. Even without a notice, you can renew with your current registration and proof of insurance.

At All Florida, we can process your renewal typically within 72 hours and send it to you by USPS Certified Mail or FedEx (your choice).

Do I need to carry my registration with me?

Yes. Florida law requires that the current registration certificate (or an official copy) be in the vehicle or on your person at all times while driving.

What if my plate, sticker, or registration is lost or stolen?

We can issue a replacement. You’ll need to provide:
• Your driver’s license
• Proof of Florida auto insurance (must be active policy)
• Application for Replacement | Form HSMV 83146
